Going through hardship
We support business going through hardship where we can. We can reduce the amount of business rates you owe if we are satisfied that:
- your business would continue to struggle if we did not help
- it is reasonable for us to do so, with having to balance that we must consider the impact on people who pay their council tax.
Please note, the council only exercises this discretion in exceptional circumstances
