I believe we have a good balance of a cabinet with a wealth of experience and abilities, alongside three new members who will, I have no doubt, bring a fresh approach and ideas to their roles. We have made the decision to split the Community Wellbeing portfolio into two – Housing and Communities – as the amount of work that we are doing in those areas continues to grow.
“I’d also like to take a moment to thank those cabinet members who have stepped down, who have, many for a number of years, worked tirelessly on the cabinet in support of delivering our priorities for the benefit of residents and businesses across the district.”
